Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the services of Global Access Shipping (“the Company”), the shipper, consignor, and/or receiver (collectively “the Client”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern all domestic and international transit, brokerage, and logistics consulting provided by the Company.

2. Scope of Service

Global Access Shipping acts as a freight forwarder and logistics coordinator. We reserve the right to utilize third-party carriers, airlines, and maritime vessels to execute the transit of goods. The Company is not a “common carrier” and reserves the right to refuse the carriage of any goods at its sole discretion.

3. Prohibited Items

Clients are strictly prohibited from shipping hazardous materials, illegal contraband, counterfeit currency, or restricted biological agents. All shipments are subject to inspection by the Company or relevant governmental customs authorities.

4. Limitation of Liability

Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing via a Premium Cargo Insurance policy, the Company’s liability for loss or damage to cargo is limited to the lesser of:

  • The actual value of the goods; or

  • The standard limit per kilogram as defined by the Warsaw/Montreal Conventions (Air) or Cogsa (Sea).

5. Customs & Duties

The Client is responsible for the accuracy of all documentation, including HS Codes and commercial invoices. Any fines, storage fees, or duties incurred due to inaccurate documentation shall be the sole financial responsibility of the Client.
